Sun Prairie alders approve Capital Improvement Plan 2019, but....

The city of Sun Prairie alders just approved the 2019 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), but removed two bicycling projects! Wondering what roads and infrastructure will be improved in 2019? Read the full article on The Star's website and see this map with all the streets highlighted.

We just learned that both the bicycle lanes project and multi-use paths signage project have been pulled out of the 2019 CIP plan! The Public Works committee was in support and felt that all CIP criteria was met and should have been included. If you feel the same way, please contact your alder and let them know!
