Your opinion matters...
...and your opinion will play a roll in the future of Sun Prairie. This includes how our city is presented to others and could involve changes that affect people on bicycles.
With that in mind, consider taking a few minutes to participate in the following surveys:
- The League - Bicycle Friendly America
A couple of years ago we submitted an application to be included in the Bicycle Friendly Community program and received an honorable mention. A lot has occurred in Sun Prairie since that time which has been included in the application we just submitted. The League reviews the applications while collecting information from residents. With that in mind, we are hoping you will take part in this BFC survey. With your help, we are aiming to reach the Bronze level or higher. - People For Bikes - Places For Bikes
This national organization does not take applications like the BFC program above. Instead, they gauge their ratings on surveys from residents, meetings with city officials, and trend reports they are able to pull from the State and Federal government groups. Please take part in "this survey" to help with Sun Prairie's status in Places for Bikes. - Main and Bristol Development Plan
By taking this survey, you can help shape the vision and development plan for the intersection of Main Street and Bristol downtown, the site of the July 2018 gas leak and explosion. The survey provides multiple options for this intersection as well as the area around this space and the Prairie Academy. Consider what you would like to see downtown and how those areas are accessed. - Sheehan Park Master Plan
This just went live. The City of Sun Prairie is engaged in planning the future of Sheehan Park. They are hoping to have the community informed and engaged during the process. Sun Prairie's Parks and Recreation Department is launching a new tool, Mind Mixer, an interactive platform for discussion. Instead of surveys, they are hoping this tool will generate discussion, provide a place for photo submissions, and allow interactive polling involvement.
