The Sun Prairie Public Works Committee is meeting Tuesday afternoon (4-5:30pm) to discuss and possibly take actions on several bicycling and mobility related topics.
- 2019 On-Street Accommodations, Street width and Sidewalks - City staff is making recommendations for 2019 street re-construction Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), which includes street width recommendations to allow for On-Street Bike Lanes (Broadway Drive) and Sharrow Lanes (Buena Vista Drive) and sidewalks. There are many streets that are up for complete re-construction <- follow this link for complete details. We believe in safe mobility options for all people. This requires sidewalks on all streets, in all of Sun Prairie. There is a lot of support among Sun Prairie residents for Madison Metro to provide bus service between Sun Prairie and Madison starting June 2019 - this requires safe access to routes and stops ON SIDEWALKS!
