Spring 2023 events supported by Sun Prairie Moves

We are excited to start another Spring/Summer bicycling season in and around Sun Prairie! We've been working hard behind the scenes to prepare more opportunities on how to safely enjoy riding a bicycle. Some familiar, annual events are back. Several new and unique opportunities have been added for 2023.

We are lucky to partner with several individuals, organizations and our city's Park & Recreation department to let you know about this upcoming events.

SPRING/SUMMER 2023 EVENTS:

April 22 - Earth Day, Paul vanDelst Memorial Fundraiser. 1-4pm, Colonial Club

April 22 - Earth Day Clean-up. 9am - Noon, Clean-up along Shonas Highlands trail (via Parks Friends, Inc.)

May 13 - Bike to the Farmers Market. 7am - Noon, Market Street, Sun Prairie

May 23 - Pedal for Paws Bike Event/Creekside Family Night. 5:00pm-7:00pm, Creekside Elementary

June 1 - Bike the Prairie. Learn how to safely ride your bike and participate in organized group rides

June 7 - Bikes, Brats, & Brews. Sun Prairie Moves annual fundraiser and group ride

July 1 - Pedal the Prairie Challenge. Ride 100miles between July 1 - August 30. Get a shirt, win prizes.

July 5 - Wednesday Night Bike Ride (WNBR). Informal bike rides. 5-7pm, Stoneridge Estates Park

August 1 - Concerts in the Park. Ride to the Park - 6:00-8:00pm, Wetmore Park, Sun Prairie
