SPASD adds multi-use paths to future Ashley Field

SPASD only had limited number of multi-use paths planned as part of the Ashley field re-construction project. The initial General Development Plan showed a path ending at Commercial Ave, without any connection to Linnerud Dr.

After a review with city planning staff, SPASD managers and administrators, and input from SPMoves, the following design was approved by the city council Tuesday night (11/19/2019). What do you think?

An additional path east of Ashley field, connecting Main St. to Linnerud, is being considered after Prairie Phoenix Academy gets torn down in 2022.
