Sheehan Park invasive species work day...

You have expressed interest or may know someone who is interested in the VOLUNTEER GARLIC MUSTARD PULL at Sheehan Park this Saturday, May 14.

First of all - THANK YOU!!

Date: Saturday, 5/14

Time: 9AM – 12PM

LOCATION: meet at 910 S BIRD STREET (Little League parking lot near Skate park)

What to bring/wear:

· Long pants/closed toed shoes

· Garden gloves (to pull weeds)

· Water

· Sunscreen

· A friend!

We will talk about what invasive species are and how to identify Garlic Mustard. As we walk around we’ll point out other plants and birds we see (and hear) along the way. If you like birds, bring your binoculars – it’s great time to see migrating song birds!
