Pedal the Prairie Challenge - by the numbers

Were you one of the nearly 350 individuals who participated in the Sun Prairie Park and Recreation - Pedal the Prairie Challenge (PTPC)?

The challenge was open from June 15 to August 20. Participation was open to anyone. Read more here.

#PTPC by the numbers:

  • Total number of participants = 347 (largest participation for any SPPRF event ever!)
  • Age range = 4 yrs to 79 yrs
  • Sun Prairie resident participation =appx. 70%
  • Total miles ridden by all participants = over 47,200 miles
  • People who completed the 100mi challenge = over 50 individuals

Mileage tracking was largely done via the #LoveToRide app and services. Many #PTPC participants continue to track their miles. Why don't you join our SPMoves group on the Love To Ride site?
