    I’m no fan of ebikes and they should be consider a motorized vehicle and not allowed on pedestrian walkways. My reason is thus : all the ebikers I see are not elderly or people with disabilities but people between 15-40 who just want a easier FASTER ride. I have witnessed ebikers doing 35~ mph on bike lanes.i ride 2500-3500 miles a year so I have seen enough to not like the industry going that route.
