Bike Week Proclamation

Sun Prairians-

June 5th thru June 11th is Wisconsin Bike Week. In a long-standing tradition, the City of Sun Prairie will officially recognize the week by proclamation. Please plan to attend the City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 7th to observe the proclamation by our Mayor (and bicyclist) Paul Esser. Generally the proclamations are very early in the program. After the proclamation some of us plan to adjourn to a nearby establishment where beer is served to chat about advocacy (not nearly as dry as it sounds…after all, beer is involved) and our upcoming BBB ride.

The Greater Madison MPO (Metropolitan Planning Organization) launched a new app and website for the Dane County Bike Map. The new app makes it very easy to find nearby bike repair stations, on-street & off-street paths, and mountain biking trails.
