Bike to Work Week Proclamation

Thank you to the seventeen members who attended last night's city council meeting. We more than doubled last year's attendance.

At this meeting, our acting mayor, Mary Polenske, proclaimed May 12th thru 16th as Bike to Work week in Sun Prairie. Al Clark then spoke for our group thanking the mayor and announcing our group to the general public. Al also mentioned our new website (sunprairiemoves.org) after which we saw numerous city alders quickly visiting the site on their laptops and tablets. Two of those alders signed up for additional updates through the website.

Chris Mertes was in attendance representing The Star. Keep an eye out for future articles on our group.
