Bike To Work Week Proclamation

Please attend the City Council meeting tomorrow night, 7:00 PM at City Hall for the Bike To Work Week presentation. Help represent our group to the City...and all you have to do is show up. Generally the proclamations are early on the agenda, and you needn't stay after.

Thanks
Al

Sun Prairians-

May 10th thru May 15th is Bike To Work Week. In a long-standing tradition, the City of Sun Prairie will officially recognize the week by proclamation. Please plan to attend the City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 5th to observe the proclamation by our new Mayor (and bicyclist) Paul Esser. Generally proclamation are very early in the program. After the proclamation we plan to adjourn to a nearby establishment where beer is served to talk advocacy (not nearly as dry as it sounds…after all, beer is involved) and discuss how our members would like to see the group go forward. More later.

Bike to Work Day is May 15th. This year the Sun Prairie Bicycling Advocacy Group will be hosting two commuter stations, one on the East side at Cannery Square. On the West side it will be near Starbucks in Prairie Lakes. I’ll post more information as the date comes closer.
