Thanks everyone who was able to come out and participate. Here is a YouTube video of the Mayor Esser reading the proclamation.

Sun Prairians-

We hope you can attend the June 5th City Council meeting from 7 to 7:30pm! #StrengthInNumbers

June 2nd thru June 9th is Wisconsin Bike Week. In a long-standing tradition, the City of Sun Prairie will officially recognize the week by proclamation. Please plan to attend the City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 5th to observe the proclamation by our Mayor (and bicyclist) Paul Esser. Generally the proclamations are very early in the program. After the proclamation some of us plan to adjourn to a nearby establishment where beer is served to chat about advocacy (not nearly as dry as it sounds…after all, beer is involved) and our upcoming BBB ride.

And don’t forget these upcoming activities:

I heard some residents are complaining about the Sheehan park single track trails and there are notes on Facebook about the city closing the trial indefinitely. Any truth to the closings? My kids and my wife and I are active in SP Youth Cycling and want to continue using the trail system.
